So, I'm trying something new and different. My favorite podcaster, Jeff Sanders, talked about breaking the year down into quarters basically. Instead of looking at the entire year, look at 12 weeks and make goals for that period of time. So, I've decided on four goals for June, July, and August:
1. Make my long run 9 miles by the end of August.
2. Read 6 books -- 4 for personal development and 2 for fun (novels).
3. Increase number of clients by 5.
4. Run the Arlington Farmers' Market (it will start and end during this time period).
As Jeff said, only make 4-5 goals and make sure that they are measurable. The next step for me will be to make them visual so that I can see them everyday. I really like the idea of breaking down the year so that it doesn't seem so overwhelming.
I'm a lover of life, an eternal optimist, and I have an intense desire to add value through simple living and positive vibes.
