This morning I went for a walk before the temperatures climbed. It was one of my normal routes, but this time I did something different.
I took some random pictures of signs...and a fire hydrant.
When I saw the fire hydrant, I instantly had an idea for a writing piece. You can check it out HERE. It focuses on how we can take an item and think about it in a negative or a positive way. It all depends upon us.
It was a different perspective for me as I walked. Instead of just focusing on getting in my exercise, I was a little more leisurely. I really looked at my surroundings as if seeing them for the first time.
It's crazy how that happens. I'm so guilty of just taking my scenery for granted. I don't stop to really notice what's around. I really liked the perspective I got today.
Go out into your neighborhood sometime and see if you notice anything different.
I bet you do.
