Let me preface this by saying I do enjoy technology. In many ways it has made my life easier and allows me to stay more connected with loved ones.
And then there's days like today.
I went to bed last night frustrated with my Apple Watch, because sometimes it just decides to freeze up and stop working. I got up this morning hoping by some miracle that it had magically repaired itself.
No such luck.
So, I logged on to my laptop to search for ways to solve my problem. And of course, this morning the Internet was slower than molasses. I waited...and waited...and waited for it to load the page I wanted.
Finally! I searched and found the answer to get the watch going again, and I met with success.
But wait, there's more. I had unpaired it with my iPhone, and so I needed to pair them again. The last time this issue happened, I was able to pair them with ease. No such luck this time. I went back to my trusty search for an answer, and I'm struggling to find one.
On top of that issue, I had an update to install on my iPhone, so I had that to contend with.
It was enough to make me want to scream, but instead I sighed, got up from the laptop, and took my future son-in-law's chocolate lab for a walk. Hanging out with Cali is more fun anyway than dealing with technology.
The best part of this whole story is that when I came back from our walk, I did another search for an answer and by golly it worked! Sometimes we just need to step away from a problem to gain clarity.
I'm a lover of life, an eternal optimist, and I have an intense desire to add value through simple living and positive vibes.
