This is me.
No make-up. Dressed in relaxed clothes (you can't see the yoga pants). Rocking the running cap. Comfy in my own skin.
This is Everyday Life Uncluttered to me. As my home page says, my goal is to add value through positive vibes. Adding value means living a simple life: body, mind, and soul. The triad, so to speak. All three need to click for life to be uncluttered.
And, yes, it's a challenge.
It's a challenge not to get riled when I see negative posts on social media, to push through a workout when I don't feel well, or to remain positive when the environment doesn't match my goals.
Lately, I've been failing in all of the above. Negative posts have gotten me down, I've forgotten what a workout feels like, and I've let my soul be affected over things which I have no control.
As much as I would like to say I'm rainbows and unicorns all the time, that would be a lie. All of us are works in progress, and that's much of what my blog focuses on. Making mistakes and learning. Doing better. Moving on. Understanding that life is one lesson after another.
None of us has it together. Not 100% of the time anyway. And that's okay.
I have a quote made by Courtney of Pleasant Avenue Paper (pleasantavenuepaper.com), framed that says, "Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do." - H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
Cultivating my writing and this blog, "Everyday Life Uncluttered," is what I was meant to do. I'm excited to follow this path and see where I go. And, thank you for reading my words, because you make a difference in my life. You help me work to live a life that is more uncluttered. I hope, in some small way, I'm doing the same for you.
I'm a lover of life, an eternal optimist, and I have an intense desire to add value through simple living and positive vibes.
