I love to laugh. Sometimes I laugh so hard that I cry. Sometimes I laugh so hard that I can't breathe. Sometimes I laugh so hard that I can't seem to stop. Each time I think I'm going to stop, I start laughing harder, for no apparent reason.
There's research that supports the idea that laughter helps you appear and feel younger. I don't know about that, although last year a lovely older woman told Jack (my husband) and I that we were "well-preserved." We took the liberty that she meant we looked young.
I will say, though, that Jack and I laugh everyday. We are just plain goofy. I'm not an early morning person in that I like silence and calm for the first hour of my day. Jack springs out of bed full of energy and general silliness. Even when I'm still wiping the sleep out of my eyes, the guy will do or say something that makes me laugh and my day is off to such a positive start because of it. Maybe he starts singing a song, and sometimes I join in with my joyful noise (Today it was a snippet of "Levels" by Nick Jonas.) Maybe he walks through the house clapping...no idea why. He gets particularly giddy when I actually join in the clapping. Whatever he does, I find that I'm shaking my head with a smile on my face. I can't imagine starting my day any other way.
I'm a lover of life, an eternal optimist, and I have an intense desire to add value through simple living and positive vibes.
