Today is the beginning of my daily blog post! I'm both excited and terrified about doing it. I really enjoy writing and feel that I have a lot to offer, but it's kind of daunting to think about blogging every single day.
I'm focusing on gratitude right now. I listened to Jeff Sanders' podcast this morning (The 5 AM Miracle...sidebar, check it out on iTunes. Jeff is amazing and bursting with energy! I honestly don't know how the guys does it, but his enthusiasm is infectious.). He interviewed Bob Proctor, the author of The ABCs of Success. Bob had a lot of great nuggets. In fact, I'm going to go back and listen to the podcast again later today.
Bob talked about having gratitude everyday. He said that the first thing he does in the morning is that he grabs a notebook and writes down 10 things he's grateful for, then he asks God for guidance for his day, and then he writes down the names of three people to send love to.
What an amazing way to begin the day!
I listened to the podcast at the gym, and so I did it when I got home after breakfast, and it was an incredible experience (I decided to do 5 gratitudes from the day before instead of 10). I can't wait to start my day with it tomorrow. I'm going to get up, grab my glass of water, and then get to this new part of my morning routine. I dare you to do the same. Here we go!
