I wrote about this on another page of my website, but my quads are still screaming from yesterday's workout with my trainer. You always have to listen to your body, and my body said to not run. So, I listened. I did an hour-long yoga session and it was delightful. My quads are still sore, but I'm in better shape than if I had decided to run today. In fact, I might have risked an injury if I had done so. That wouldn't have been smart considering that I'm just under six weeks away from race day. In honor of doing yoga today, I give you Day 9 of #100happy days: my yoga mat. The intense workout and serenity you get from yoga cannot be adequately put into words in my book. You just need to experience it!
