I encountered positive peer pressure with my youngest sister. She was trying to figure out how she could run more as summer approaches us. I told her that her options were later in the evening or early in the morning. She opted for early morning and said she would do it if I would. So, I got up at 5:15 this morning and completed a 3-mile run. I didn't run as fast as I usually do, but it was definitely a rush to get myself up and going instead of hitting the snooze button. I'm a little more tired this evening, but I think she has definitely hit on something here. When I have a definite reason to get up in the morning, it's easier to actually get up and do it. My plan is to come up with something physical to do each morning. Tomorrow morning I will be getting up to walk Cali, our chocolate lab.
