I'm working to break a habit that I have had for many years: multitasking. As much as I try to convince myself that it's okay to do, I know deep down that it isn't something that I can continue. Even as I type this, I'm thinking about checking my Twitter account, wondering if I still have time for a 20 minute respite, and feeling like I should go down and switch loads of laundry. I'm terrible about starting one thing and then moving on to something else before that task is completed. Today has been better though. Each time I think about switching to something else midstream, I say to myself, "Stop." It has been enough to get me to stay on course with what I'm currently doing until it is done. I'm also trying out a new app called any.do. It's a pretty cool way to put a to-do list together and then to check items off as they get done. I'm going to continue to play around with it, and see if it really keeps me on track with some of the goals I have for myself in the short-term and long-term.
I'm a lover of life, an eternal optimist, and I have an intense desire to add value through simple living and positive vibes.
