Potential severe weather scares me. I'm not sure why, but it always has. When I was a child, I was almost obsessed. I would watch when the meteorologists broke in when watching a favorite TV show. I listened intently to what was reported and then I would go outside and look up at the clouds to see if I could see anything. My stomach would churn and be in knots. That hasn't changed but as an adult I manage it a lot better. I use that energy to my advantage. Instead of letting it paralyze me and getting worried about something that's out of my control, I take what I can control and turn it into a positive. I think that's sometimes what scares people about taking that first step toward changing something in their lives. It's having to let go of something even if it is something harmful. It's letting go of control of it and moving on toward something that they don't have control over yet. It's scary, but it doesn't have to be. Think about something you want to change. Take that first step and use it to your advantage.
I'm a lover of life, an eternal optimist, and I have an intense desire to add value through simple living and positive vibes.
